2016 Summer Arts Camp

Ages: 5 – 12 yrs old

Camp Hours:
Monday thru Friday
8:30am to 12:30pm and/or 1:30pm to 5:30pm
Pack a Lunch and Stay all Day!
(please pack non-microwavable items).

Join us this summer for hands on experience exploring art materials and methods in creative and fun ways. Sign up early to experience an entire summer of fun!

Imaginative collage, drawing, painting, watercolor, pastels, fiber art, hand building with clay,mixed media techniques, music, singing & dancing!

Join us as we display the wonderful art created by our campers at the “End of Summer Exhibit” August 1st.

Cost for Camp:

$95 per week/half day $160 per week/full day.  A one time only registration fee of $10 Includes Camp T-Shirt

Summer Arts Camp Themes

Week 1 June 13th – 17th
(CLOSED – WEEK FULL)
FACE OFF
Portraits – Create an artistic face! Whether it is your face, a friend or an animal’s face, we will explore portraits in many different forms using various art mediums.

Week 2 June 20th – 24th
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
Challenge traditional art – This week we will explore the art revolution of abstraction!

Week 3 June 27th – July 1st
POP, BANG, BOOM
Inspired by popular culture – the images of objects, advertising and comic books can become unique works of art.

Week 4 July 11th – 15th
IN YOUR DREAMS
Unleash your imagination and express your dreams, by creating Surrealistic Art!

Week 5 July 18th – 22nd
LASTING IMPRESSIONS
Get inspired by famous Impressionist artists and leave your impression by creating a masterpiece of your own.

Week 6 July 25th – 29th
TAG YOU’RE IT
Develop your own signature this week exploring the world of Graffiti Art.

Week 7 August 1st – 5th
THAT’S ALL FOLK(s)
Folk art is the root of cultural expression. Delve into raw art, create and have some fun!


High School students are invited to participate in this exciting and fun summer program to earn Voluntary Public Service Hours while gaining job skills and art knowledge.

Student Volunteers may choose one week or several weeks.
